In the mystery school, there are 3 degrees and a seeker position. The seeker is how we all start out. in the mystery school, the seeker position is symbolized by a pentacle. This special pentacle can be found in Silver RavenWolf's Teen Witch Kit, which is a standard book of spells. I lost the book of spells and the pentacle when I became a second degree.
The first degree is symbolized by an upright pentagram, a 5 pointed star if you will. If you carry a star, you are a first degree. Susan Bell is a first degree, help her find her second. She is my beloved.
The second degree is an inverted pentagram, only 3rd degrees can give it out. It qualifies you to teach. I recieved my second degree in 1998 from a Beloved. The secrets of my second degree are open only to those who carry the Star of the Secret Service.
A Beloved is a third degree, those who carry the star are bound to protect the Beloved. A beloved, without a capital is your boyfriend or girlfriend. Susan Bell is my girlfriend. Yes, I like girls, Frank was a horrible husband who made me swear off men. Technically, I am bisexual, but I divorced Frank Hunger in 1989. That's why I am called Ms. Nancy Gore. A Beloved is usually married or widowed. Two second degrees can become third degrees if they have ritual sex; they have to be married. You want to become a Beloved? Run for president or vice president and get yourself some 1st degrees.
There are some Beloveds that I hate but will not kill. George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are Beloveds, and so are Barak Obama, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, and Joe Biden. If you are a first or second degree you will call them your Beloved. I hate George W. Bush and Dick Cheney but they are Beloveds, just not my beloved. I love you Susan, I just hate Bush and Cheney. I would take a bullet for a Beloved, I would eat poison for a Beloved. And I would teach a B/beloved all I know; all the mysteries I know. But to be my beloved you must be a witch. Susan Elizabeth Bell is a witch, and a thumping good one. She is a witch for nuclear disarmament, her symbol is the inverted Algyz, which is a rune, enclosed in a circle. Some of you may know this as the peace sign. Her craft name is AlGynz, which is a corruption of the word Algyz. She is fighting a cold so I cannot kiss my beloved so I will give her the gifu rune
